Privacy Policy
How We Handle Your Information
How Whisk Logistics LLC collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this site.
Whisk Logistics LLC (“Whisk Logistics,” “Whisk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information we collect through our website, https://www.whisklogistics.com (the “Website”), and in connection with the business activities described in this Privacy Policy. References to the Website include the www and non-www forms of that domain and any subdomains we operate.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we disclose it, how we protect it, and the rights that may be available to you under applicable federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), to the extent those laws apply to Whisk Logistics.
This Privacy Policy addresses information collected through the Website and through related sales, marketing, and customer-communication activities. It does not address personal information we process in connection with employment, driver qualification and carrier onboarding, or the administration of individual transportation contracts, which are handled separately.
By using the Website or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, information collected automatically when you use the Website, and information we may receive from other sources in connection with our business activities.
A. Information You Provide to Us
When you use our “Contact Us” or similar forms, communicate with us, request information, inquire about our services, or otherwise contact us, we may collect:
- First and last name;
- Company or organization name;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Information contained in your message or inquiry; and
- Other information you voluntarily provide to us.
We ask that you do not submit Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, medical information, passwords, or other highly sensitive personal information through the Website unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure process.
B. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Website, certain information may be collected automatically, including:
- IP address;
- Browser type and version;
- Device type;
- Operating system;
- Referring website or source;
- Pages viewed;
- Date and time of visits;
- Approximate geographic information derived from IP address;
- Website navigation and interaction information; and
- Other technical information concerning your use of the Website.
We use this information primarily to operate, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the Website.
Except for a traffic measurement script served by Cloudflare, our hosting and delivery provider, as described in Section 3, the Website does not load fonts, scripts, stylesheets, or other resources from third-party servers. All other such resources are served directly from the Website.
C. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website does not use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, or similar technologies for analytics, advertising, or marketing purposes. We do not deploy tracking technologies that follow you across other websites, and we do not use technologies that build a profile of your browsing activity. The Website loads no third-party advertising, remarketing, social media, session recording, or visitor identification technologies.
The Website is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (“Cloudflare”), our content delivery, hosting, and security provider. Cloudflare may set a limited number of cookies on your device solely to provide security and delivery functions, such as distinguishing legitimate visitors from automated bot traffic, mitigating malicious activity, and maintaining the availability of the Website. These cookies are required for the Website to operate securely. They do not identify you personally to us, are not used for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking, and are not shared with any third party for those purposes.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the Website and maintain its security, they fall within the exemption from consent requirements recognized under applicable law, and the Website therefore does not present a cookie consent banner. You may block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect Website security functions and certain Website functionality.
D. Website Infrastructure and Security
The Website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare’s global network. In order to deliver Website content to your device, protect the Website against attacks and abuse, and maintain the security and availability of the Website, Cloudflare processes technical information associated with your visit, including your IP address, browser type, and request information. This processing is a necessary technical function of operating the Website and occurs for security and delivery purposes only.
This information is processed by Cloudflare on our behalf as a service provider and is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above. It is not used to identify you, to build a profile of your activity, or for any advertising or marketing purpose.
2. Notice at Collection
At or before the point at which we collect personal information through the Website, we provide notice of the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which it will be used, together with a link to this Privacy Policy. The categories and purposes are described in Sections 1, 6, and 9 of this Privacy Policy.
We do not use personal information collected through the Website for purposes materially different from those disclosed at the point of collection without providing any additional notice required by law.
3. WEBSITE ANALYTICS
Whisk Logistics uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate Website usage, including the number of visits, the pages viewed, the general geographic region of visitors, referral sources, and Website performance metrics such as page loading speed.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed as a privacy-first measurement service. It does not use cookies, local storage, or similar client-side technologies for analytics purposes. It does not use device fingerprinting, and it does not track individual visitors over time by IP address, browser characteristics, or any other identifier. The information we receive is aggregate and statistical in nature; we cannot use it to identify you or to follow your activity across other websites.
Cloudflare processes this information on our behalf as a service provider, solely to provide analytics and Website delivery services to Whisk Logistics, and is contractually restricted from using it for its own purposes. Our use of Cloudflare Web Analytics does not involve the disclosure of personal information to any third party for advertising purposes and does not constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Because this measurement does not identify individual visitors, does not rely on cookies or persistent identifiers, and is not used for advertising, the Website does not offer an analytics opt-out mechanism and does not present a consent banner. There is no individual analytics record associated with you that could be identified, accessed, or deleted.
For additional information regarding Cloudflare’s privacy practices, please review Cloudflare’s applicable privacy documentation.
4. Pipedrive
Whisk Logistics uses Pipedrive as a customer relationship management (“CRM”) platform. Information submitted through our Website, including information submitted through our contact forms, may be transferred to or stored in Pipedrive so that we can:
- Respond to inquiries;
- Communicate with prospective and existing customers;
- Manage sales and customer relationships;
- Maintain business records;
- Coordinate logistics and transportation services; and
- Perform other legitimate business activities.
Pipedrive processes personal information on our behalf as a service provider under a written agreement that restricts its use of that information to the purposes for which we engaged it. Pipedrive describes its privacy and security practices in its own privacy documentation.
5. LinkedIn and Marketing Communications
Whisk Logistics may use LinkedIn and LinkedIn services to communicate with customers, prospective customers, business contacts, and other professionals and to distribute business-related information, marketing materials, announcements, and newsletters. The Website links to our LinkedIn company page.
The Website does not use the LinkedIn Insight Tag, LinkedIn conversion tracking, or similar advertising technologies, and we do not upload contact lists to LinkedIn for advertising audience matching. Whisk Logistics does not sell or rent personal information to LinkedIn or use LinkedIn as a means of selling or sharing personal information with third parties.
Information processed through LinkedIn’s own platform is subject to LinkedIn’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
If you receive marketing communications from Whisk Logistics, you may request that we stop sending them by using any unsubscribe mechanism included in the communication or by contacting us using the information in Section 28. We may continue to send non-marketing communications reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, provide requested services, administer a business relationship, or otherwise communicate regarding an existing business relationship.
6. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information for legitimate business purposes, including to:
- Respond to inquiries and requests;
- Provide information about our transportation, logistics, drayage, and related services;
- Prepare and provide quotations or proposals;
- Communicate with customers, prospective customers, vendors, carriers, and business contacts;
- Provide and administer transportation and logistics services;
- Manage customer and business relationships;
- Maintain business records;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website;
- Analyze Website traffic and performance;
- Conduct marketing and business development activities;
- Send newsletters and other business communications;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, security incidents, and unauthorized activity;
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- Perform other purposes reasonably related to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We will not use personal information for materially incompatible purposes without providing any notice required by applicable law.
7. How We Disclose Personal Information
Whisk Logistics does not sell or rent personal information.
We may disclose personal information to third parties when reasonably necessary to conduct our business, including:
Affiliates and Related Companies
Whisk Freight Brokerage LLC is a separate legal entity under common ownership with Whisk Logistics LLC. From time to time, Whisk Logistics LLC may share information collected through this website with Whisk Freight Brokerage LLC when reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, evaluate or provide requested services, communicate with you regarding services that may be relevant to your needs, or otherwise support a business relationship.
Information that may be shared may include business contact information and other information you voluntarily provide through our website, such as your name, company name, email address, telephone number, and information contained in your inquiry or message. We do not sell or rent your personal information to Whisk Freight Brokerage LLC or any other third party.
Whisk Freight Brokerage LLC is a separate legal entity and maintains its own privacy practices with respect to information it collects directly. When Whisk Freight Brokerage LLC receives information from Whisk Logistics LLC, it may use that information for the purposes described above and in accordance with applicable law.
The sharing of information with Whisk Freight Brokerage LLC does not mean that Whisk Logistics LLC and Whisk Freight Brokerage LLC are the same company or that one company assumes responsibility for the other’s services, obligations, or privacy practices.
Service Providers
We may disclose information to companies that provide services to us, such as Website hosting, content delivery, and security providers, including Cloudflare; contact form processing providers, including Formspree; customer relationship management providers, including Pipedrive; communications and marketing platforms; information technology and security providers; professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, and consultants; and other contractors or service providers that assist us in operating our business.
Information you submit through our contact forms is transmitted through Formspree, which processes and delivers that submission to Whisk Logistics on our behalf as a service provider. Formspree describes its privacy and security practices in its own privacy documentation.
These providers may access personal information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for Whisk Logistics or as otherwise permitted by law.
Legal and Safety Purposes
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law; respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes; respond to lawful requests from governmental authorities; protect the rights, property, or safety of Whisk Logistics, our customers, employees, or others; investigate suspected fraud, misconduct, or security incidents; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business Transactions
If Whisk Logistics is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
8. Categories of Personal Information
To the extent the CCPA applies to Whisk Logistics, the categories of personal information we may collect include:
| CCPA Category | Examples |

9. Sources of Personal Information
We may obtain personal information from you directly; your employer or organization, when appropriate; customers and prospective customers; vendors and business partners; information you make publicly available; our Website; analytics and technology providers; CRM and communications providers; and other lawful sources.
10. Personal Information Disclosed for Business Purposes
Whisk Logistics does not sell or rent personal information.
We may disclose categories of personal information for legitimate business purposes to service providers and contractors that assist us with Website operation, analytics, customer relationship management, communications, information technology, security, professional services, and business operations. Examples include Cloudflare, Pipedrive, Website hosting providers, technology providers, and professional advisers.
11. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident and the CCPA applies to Whisk Logistics and your personal information, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include:
Right to Know
You may have the right to request information concerning the categories of personal information we collect; the categories of sources from which it is collected; the business or commercial purposes for collecting it; the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed; the categories disclosed for a business purpose; and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, subject to applicable exceptions.
Right to Delete
You may have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions permitted by law. For example, we may retain information when necessary to complete a transaction, provide a requested service, comply with legal obligations, maintain security, exercise legal rights, or satisfy other legally recognized exceptions.
Right to Correct
You may have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained by Whisk Logistics, subject to applicable law.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
Whisk Logistics does not sell or rent personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA. Accordingly, we do not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, because we do not engage in those activities.
If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide the opt-out link and mechanism required by applicable law.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
To the extent applicable, California residents may have the right to limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information. Whisk Logistics does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Website for purposes that would require such a limitation.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights provided to you by applicable privacy laws.
12. How to Submit a Privacy Request
If you wish to exercise a privacy right, you may contact us using:
Email: contactus@whisklogistics.com
Mail: Whisk Logistics LLC, Attn: Privacy Request, 2045 E. Carson St., Suite B, Carson, CA 90810
Telephone: 562-317-0445
You may also use our Website’s Contact Us form to initiate a privacy request. When submitting a request, please identify the nature of your request and provide sufficient information for us to reasonably verify your identity. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests; the verification process may depend on the nature and sensitivity of the information involved.
You do not need to create an account to submit a privacy request.
Where required by applicable law, Whisk Logistics will respond to a verifiable consumer request within the time period prescribed by law. Under the CCPA, covered businesses generally must respond to qualifying requests within 45 days, subject to applicable extensions and exceptions.
13. Authorized Agents
Where permitted by law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We may require appropriate documentation establishing the agent’s authority and may independently verify your identity as permitted or required by law.
14. Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain other states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, among others, may have rights under their own state privacy laws, which may include rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling.
These laws apply only to businesses that meet the thresholds each law establishes. To the extent a state privacy law applies to Whisk Logistics and to your personal information, we will honor the rights it provides. You may submit a request using the contact information in Section 12.
Appeals. Where required by applicable state law, if we decline to act on your request you may appeal that decision by contacting us using the information in Section 12 and identifying your submission as an appeal. We will respond to appeals within the period required by applicable law and, if the appeal is denied, will provide information about how to contact the applicable state attorney general.
15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Certain web browsers and devices provide “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is not a uniform industry standard governing how such signals should be interpreted, the Website may not respond to all browser-based Do Not Track signals.
To the extent required by applicable California law, Whisk Logistics will process recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control, in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Because Whisk Logistics does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, there is currently no sale or sharing activity from which such a signal would opt a consumer out.
16. California Shine the Light
California residents may have rights under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 concerning disclosure of certain personal information to third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing purposes. Whisk Logistics does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. California residents may contact us using the information in Section 12 with questions concerning these practices.
17. Marketing Communications
If you receive marketing emails, newsletters, or other promotional communications from Whisk Logistics, you may opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the communication, by contacting us using the email address in Section 12, or by contacting us through the Website.
We will process marketing opt-out requests in accordance with applicable law. Opting out of marketing communications will not necessarily prevent us from sending non-marketing communications that are necessary to respond to an inquiry, administer a business relationship, provide requested services, or comply with legal obligations.
18. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide and administer services; maintain business and customer records; respond to inquiries; manage business relationships; fulfill legal, contractual, tax, accounting, regulatory and other obligations; resolve disputes; establish, exercise or defend legal claims; maintain the security of our systems and information; prevent fraud or other misuse; and comply with applicable law.
The length of time we retain personal information varies depending on the nature of the information, the purpose for which it was collected or used, and applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and business requirements. When determining how long to retain personal information, we consider factors such as the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which it is used, whether the information is necessary to maintain an ongoing business relationship, applicable recordkeeping requirements, and whether the information may be necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Website analytics information is aggregate and statistical and is not associated with an identifiable individual. It is retained by our analytics and Website delivery provider in accordance with that provider’s applicable retention practices. Technical information processed for Website delivery and security, as described in Section 1.D, is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Business contact and customer relationship information is generally retained for the duration of the applicable business relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter, consistent with our record-retention practices, contractual obligations, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and applicable federal and state tax and accounting requirements.
Personal information that is not associated with an ongoing or completed customer or business relationship is generally deleted, destroyed, or de-identified no later than three (3) years after the date it was collected or last used, unless a longer retention period is reasonably necessary for a purpose described in this Privacy Policy or is required or permitted by applicable law.
We may retain information for longer periods when reasonably necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, maintain appropriate business and financial records, resolve disputes, establish, exercise or defend legal claims, prevent fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or otherwise comply with applicable law. When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, we will delete, destroy, or de-identify it in accordance with our applicable retention and information-management practices.
19. Data Security
Whisk Logistics takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction. However, no Internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You should not submit highly sensitive personal information through an ordinary Website contact form or unencrypted email. If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal information, we will respond in accordance with applicable law, including any applicable breach-notification requirements.
20. Children’s Privacy
The Website is intended for business and general audiences and is not directed to children under 18. Whisk Logistics does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 through the Website. If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 18 in circumstances where such collection is prohibited by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
21. Third-Party Websites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including websites or services operated by business partners, social media companies, transportation organizations, or other third parties. Whisk Logistics is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.
22. Social Media
Whisk Logistics may maintain social media pages or profiles, including on LinkedIn. When you interact with Whisk Logistics through a social media platform, the platform may collect and process information about you independently of Whisk Logistics. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
23. Federal Privacy and Communications Laws
Whisk Logistics seeks to comply with applicable federal privacy, data-security, electronic communications, and consumer-protection laws.
Commercial email communications are intended to comply with applicable requirements of the federal CAN-SPAM Act, including requirements concerning accurate sender information, truthful subject lines, identification of commercial messages, physical mailing information, and mechanisms for opting out of future marketing communications.
Where we place telephone calls or send text messages for marketing purposes, we seek to comply with the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and applicable state law, including requirements concerning consent and do-not-call obligations. Whisk Logistics does not record telephone calls without providing any notice and obtaining any consent required by applicable law, including the all-party consent requirement under California law.
Whisk Logistics may also be subject to federal or state data-breach notification requirements depending on the nature of the information involved and the circumstances of an incident. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to create obligations beyond those imposed by applicable law.
24. Business Contact Information
Because Whisk Logistics primarily operates as a business-to-business transportation and logistics company, much of the information we process relates to individuals acting in a professional or business capacity. We nevertheless handle personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
25. United States Users
The Website is intended for users located in the United States. Personal information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and may be accessed by our service providers in the United States. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local law.
26. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business, Website, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices. When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Effective Date” or “Last Updated” date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
27. Relationship to Our Terms of Use
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Whisk Logistics Terms of Use governing your use of the Website. In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use with respect to the treatment of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls.
